Your Kids Health Be Damned!

Well, according to the a new prospective law in NY, my title for this blog sums up the politicians view of the citizens health in that state. Over the past 50 years or so there has been a massive push to push vaccines on people. I mean they have vaccines for just about everything these days, but the only thing that matters to the politicians is that everyone is forced to have these.

I, as most people, see some good in the vaccine program. There have been some diseases that have been hampered because of vaccines. I wouldn't go as far as some, saying that some diseases have been eradicated because of these programs, this is dangerous rhetoric that gives people a false hope. But they have helped give a healthier society from some aspects.

But i also, as most people, see that there are far too many major side-effects that come from these vaccines and the way that they are produced, which cause many problems, which in some cases out weigh the good. In a not to long past report, there is some link between the Autism epidemic and how vaccines are produced.

To me personally, it should be up to each individual family to weigh the benefits and risks and act accordingly. I remember, in my own case, taking one of my children to the doctor and getting the 3rd degree for being behind on the shots. It didn't matter to the doctor the reason the shots were behind or how we felt about the program, all that mattered was that we get them caught up at all costs.

So with all of this, NY lawmakers are trying to push a bill that would make it mandatory for all children to get all vaccines recommended by the CDC. This is a very reckless program if you ask me. It is up to the parents to decide to subject their children to the vaccines. And it also up to the parents to weigh out the benefits and dangers, they have to research these things out. Which takes time, due to the fact that the government and media only what to give one side of the matter. I know i will get the people that say that this is "A Public Good" program, so we need to have it (these are of the same regurgitative rhetoric that touts Welfare and Medicaid as being a public good), unfortunately a program can/should only be classified as such if it benefits all of the public, not just the recipients of the program while making the non-recipients pay for it. Roads can be classified as a Public Good, since we all use them and we all help pay for them (all goods and services are carried over roads, even citizens who don't drive use roads in some way. Even though i feel all roads should be privatized and out of governments hands).

So this law is not a public good, it is therefore something that the government needs to move away from. It is time for the power to be given back to the citizens of this country, for us to make our own decision on. I would implore the readers in NY and surrounding areas to fight this bill all costs, as i will do when this matter comes to my state. Demand your freedom back! Its the only way your going to get it.

Our Government, against Religion?

As most of you are aware, the media is running wild with this whole ordeal in Texas about the Polygamist ranch raid. Now let me start off by saying that i do not agree with the Mormon Religion (i don't feel there is anything wrong with their religious beliefs, i just don't agree with it), or even with Polygamist lifestyle.

Now this sect is a spin off of the mainstream Mormon faith, but nonetheless Mormon. Just as the Catholics, Agnostics, Methodists, Baptists, Lutheran, Anglican, etc, etc, etc are all offshoots of the Christian Faith, but they are nonetheless part of the Christian faith. Whats the difference between them all you may ask? Minor beliefs, the main beliefs in Christianity are all the same between, but they all take different parts of the bible as focus on what they say and wrap their church beliefs around that. Catholics believe Mary is the second most important human to live only other to Jesus, and pray to her. Baptist believe that once you believe you are saved. So my point is, it is all the same beliefs taken from the same source just looked at a little different that others do. But i digress.

Now in the beginning of Mormonism, Polygamy was a sanctioned part of the Mormon faith, handed down by the leader Joseph Smith. Some years later it was rescinded by the Church's official due to Society and Government pressure. So this explains (in very general terms) why this sect exists within the Mormon religion.

But now to my main point. This is a religious sect that is basically being persecuted for their beliefs, for no other reason than this, the government and our society says it is wrong. Why does society say it is wrong, because it is a common belief handed down from generation to generation. And as with most people, they are scared of anything that they don't consider to be normal.

I personally believe it was wrong for the government to raid this religious entities ranch. Why? It is Freedom Of Religion. Our Constitution does not guarantee the right to the Freedom of Religion under the pretense that it has to fit a criteria of what mainstream Religion is. NO IT GUARANTEES THE FREEDOM OF RELIGION, the only criteria it has to fit is, it has to be a religion, it has to believe in a higher power (whether is G-d, Krishna, Allah, a tree, a rock, a star, Ra, Zeus, Julius Caesar, Stonehenge, the sun, the air, or any other entity). Just because i do not believe in that religion, does not mean it is not a religion.

I believe that the Constitution gives the right to the Muslims, Jews, Christians, Krishna's, Buddhists, Hindu's and any other religion to act as their beliefs and their higher power/powers command them to do (Yes even if it is Polygamy), regardless of what others believe.

Ask yourself this, would you agree if the government raided your church because it was considered to do something illegal. No you wouldn't agree, and neither would i (even if it wasn't my religion of choice).
As long as the religion was not hurting people, or encroaching on the Constitutional rights of its patrons, then it is time for our Government of Thiefs to leave it alone.

Eminent Domain!

Citizens rally around Avon homeowner;school threatens to use eminent domain
CHANDA NEELY, Morning Journal Writer
AVON -- Citizens are rallying around Mary Jane Wolfe after the Avon school board passed a resolution to take possession of 25 to 27 acres of her property by eminent domain. The group Avon Citizens for Change is urging people who do not agree with the board's decision to attend tonight's school board meeting at6:30 p.m. in the media center at Heritage North Elementary School.
''We are outraged at the school board's decision to seize one of our longtime residents property through eminent domain,'' the group said in a statement posted on its Web site. ''We are asking citizens of Avon to attend the March 18 board meeting and show your support for Mary JaneWolfe.
''The property is located at 2740 and 2758 Center Road. The district is interested in taking possession of 25 to 27 acres behind Wolfe's home in order to build a new middle school.'
'The land the board is looking to acquire does not include the owner's home,'' Superintendent Jim Reitenbach said. ''We have never wanted to put her out of her house. The land we want is behind her home. We're not trying to kick her out in the street.
''The school board at a meeting Feb. 19 voted to pursue taking over the property through eminent domain. Residents asked the board to delay the vote for 120 days, but that request was voted down.
The district has offered Wolfe $750,000 for the land, but she refuses. Wolfe would be left with her home and 1.5 acres. ''She has been offered $750,000 dollars and she can stay in herhouse and vacate the property behind her,'' Reitenbach said. ''We're offering $30,000 per acre. That's the appraised value of the property. You have 25 acres that's $750,000. ''The school board has been trying to purchase the land from Wolfesince 1995. The board sent Wolfe an occasional letter until 2005 when they began to send letters more frequently. Reitenbach said Wolfe was sent another letter after the Feb. 19 vote, but she declined the offer to sell. For the district, it is more cost effective to build a new school instead of renovate. Wolfe's property has the existing sewer lines that are needed to serve the school. The district is also in negotiations with the owners of the property at 2636 and 2666 Center Road. If the district acquires the property it will have to put a bond issue on the ballot for voters to decide if they will fund construction of a new middle school. The attorney representing Wolfe did not return calls seeking comment.

Another example of the government taking from its citizens. And yet they make it sound like they are being so generous by allowing her to keep her house and 1 1/2 acres of her land. It is crazy that you work your butt off to legally acquire the things you want in life, only to have the mighty hand of the government take it from you.

Do Personal Rights Mean ANYTHING To Government?

I read this story today.

"Commissioners in Martin County have unanimously passed an ordinance allowing county employees to go onto private property without permission to kill Africanized bees and treat areas where mosquitoes are breeding.
The county's mosquito control administrator Gene Lemire said the county already responds to bee and mosquito complaints with the permission of property owners.
But he said they have had an increasing number of incidents in which property owners either cannot be found or are unwilling to clean up the infestation themselves.
Killer bees, which Lemire said have been moving into Martin County, are more aggressive than regular European honey bees and will chase people farther to sting them when a hive is disturbed. "

On face value it looks good. Think about it, the local government is so concerned of the people and the potential problem with bees, that they are going to come in and kill them to keep the people safe. However if you stop and listen, you'll hear the whisking sound of your rights flying away.
You should be able to have privacy at your own home, on your own property. However due to a bee problem, this county has basically over ruled any personal rights that you have and that the one true law in this country allows (otherwise known as the CONSTITUTION). This might have taken place in Florida, but you can bet once the "elected ones" in your area hear about this, it will be coming to your area. And i can also bet that each time a politician decides to do this, it will be expanded to include more of your rights.
Also i guess the government now has given itself infinite permission to enter your domain, regardless of how you feel. Wait until they take away our means of protecting ourselves (Guns), and see how it gets.
